Job Title: Deaf Ministry Support Assistant
Location: Home or Hub-based
Annual Salary: Competitive

Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

What will this role involve?
The Deaf Ministry Support Assistant will support the coordination of all areas relating to the UBS Fellowship’s work with Deaf people, encouraging partnership between Bible Societies and the sharing of expertise, resources and information.

Who are we looking for?
The successful applicant will be an experienced and efficient administrator with a heart for Deaf Ministry, be highly proficient in written and spoken English, and be an excellent communicator and team player. Knowledge of a sign language is not essential, but a willingness to learn or improve on a sign language would be highly desirable, and would enable the successful candidate to be more effective in working with Deaf ministries and translation teams. Due to the nature of this ministry and its involvement with Bible Societies, we are looking particularly for someone who has experience working in the UBS Fellowship.

Job Title: Communications Manager (China Partnership)

United Bible Societies (UBS) is a global organisation, serving a Fellowship of 148 Bible Societies working in more than 200 countries and territories. The UBS China Partnership manages and coordinates our Bible Ministry partnerships in China on behalf of the Fellowship.

We are looking for a talented individual to:

  1. Plan, develop and execute communications strategies to raise the visibility and profile of CP identity and ministry, benchmarking against current best practices in communications
  2. Lead, facilitate and support the communications work of various Bible Societies to meet the needs of fundraisers, donors and supporters.
  3. Lead and plan communication and other trips to China for various Bible Societies as well as trips from China to Bible Societies.
