Want to make a difference in the world with your talents?
United Bible Societies (UBS) is a global fellowship dedicated to making the Bible accessible to everyone, forming a network of 156 independent Bible Societies operating in 240 countries and territories worldwide. The strategic and operational needs of the UBS members are supported by the Global Mission Team (GMT).
Over the past twelve months, we have been developing a strategic growth plan for the next 3–5 years. As part of this initiative, we are excited to announce several new opportunities to join our global mission efforts.
These new roles are designed to increase the GMT’s focus on the needs of the Bible Societies and ensure that they are well-equipped to deliver their strategies, programmes, projects, and ministries today and in the future.
You will be joining a dynamic, international organisation with a passion for providing all people with the Word of God in their heart language. As such, all applicants will need to be able to uphold the christian ethos and be comfortable working in a Christian organisation with sensitivity to the breadth of church support that UBSA enjoys. We offer a competitive employment package based on your location. There may be opportunities to travel, and to work with a wider global team, as well as external mission partners and organisations.
This is a voluntary, unpaid, UK-based role responsible for the effective operation of the Finance & Audit Committee of the United Bible Societies Association.
The Finance & Audit Committee is an advisory committee to the UBSA Board of Trustees with delegated responsibility to make recommendations that ensure the charity meets its statutory obligations, has adequate financial controls, and maintains its long-term financial stability.
